One of the main things I wanted to do with my parents and their business was to help promote their online presence, but struggle with social media in general. Silly, but understandable. Anyway, we wanted to promote information that helps benefit their customers. The thought process behind these videos are that they wanted to:
- Allow their customers to be more knowledgeable on their vehicles and services. This will benefit them on future services.
- Show that they’re knowledgeable in the services that they sell.
- Show they’re female friendly as my mother is behind the front desk as a service advisor.
So far, the videos have been very beneficial in getting their name and face out there. The focus is more on Facebook rather than YouTube, but the videos are crossposted. The Facebook videos are all boosted for the week until the next video. My job for these videos are recording the videos, editing the videos, and boosting them on Facebook ads by creating audiences and other techniques.
This video of removing a cat stuck inside of the car went viral in the local community. It even ended up on the local news.
